Spotted these shiny lovelies on Abbot Kinney. The girl who was rocking them had style for miles.

Ok, this will be one of the last posts before I go out into the street and attempt to convince complete strangers to let me take photos of their shoes.

These beauties were a purchase I didn't even need to think about. My Adidas Greenstar kicks.

Seems only fair to put up or shut up. Here are a few from my closet.

These Generic Surplus sneakers are one of my current favorites. They have tiny perforations so they breathe nicely. Surprisingly light too. There's a natural rope texture along the edge of the sole that I first thought was an odd design touch but it has grown on me.

The first step

This isn't about shoe worship. Or foot fetishism. And it's not about being an arbiter of fashion.

I like shoes and think they often speak volumes about the person who wears them. They also make a great subject for photographs.

A simple premise with countless variations.
